About the Illuminator Awards
This signature Peale event brings together artists, preservationists, cultural leaders, educators, donors, and neighbors for a celebration of Baltimore’s creativity and resilience. The 2026 event features:
- A reception at The Peale with hors d’oeuvres, music, and a preview of the Built to Last exhibit and art auction
- A full seated dinner and awards ceremony at historic Zion Church next door
- The premiere of five professionally produced honoree tribute films
- Community-centered stories highlighting Baltimore’s legacy, architecture, and innovative spirit
Every ticket purchased and every sponsorship pledged helps sustain The Peale’s mission: to tell Baltimore’s stories and support the people who shape them.
