Announcing $5,000 in Prizes for Built to Last

The Peale is thrilled to announce the prize structure for Built to Last: A Juried Art Exhibit of Baltimore’s Enduring Landmarks! Thanks to support from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, five outstanding artists will be recognized with cash awards totaling $5,000.

This juried exhibition invites artists to create 2D works inspired by ten of Baltimore’s most iconic historic buildings. A panel of distinguished jurors from Baltimore’s cultural community will review submissions and select prize recipients.

Awards Breakdown

  • 🥇 Grand Prize – $2,500
  • 🥈 Second Place – $1,000
  • 🥉 Third Place – $700
  • 🎖️ Fourth Place – $500
  • 🎖️ Fifth Place – $300

These awards highlight the creativity and vision of artists who bring new life to Baltimore’s architectural treasures.

Submissions Open Through October 15

Artists living in Baltimore City and County are invited to apply through CaFÉ (CallForEntry.org) by October 15, 2025. Up to three works may be submitted per artist.
