Chamber Music Maryland Returns to The Peale

An Evening of Romantic Viruosity with Peter Sirotin & Ya-Ting Chang

Chamber Music Maryland returns to The Peale! We are delighted to welcome the acclaimed husband-and-wife duo Peter Sirotin (violin) and Ya-Ting Chang (piano) for an unforgettable evening of Romantic-era gems – music filled with soaring lyricism, expressive drama, and dazzling dance-like flair.

Sirotin and Chang’s musical partnership began during their studies at the Peabody Conservatory, where their artistic connection took root. Since then, the duo has built an extraordinary career, performing more than 600 concerts across the globe, recording 15 acclaimed CDs – including the complete Haydn piano trios – and premiering new works by composers Ching-Ju Shih and Jeremy Gill.

In addition to their work as performers, the pair has made a lasting impact on the cultural life of Central Pennsylvania. As co-directors of Market Square Concerts in Harrisburg since 2011, they have introduced world-class artists to regional audiences and created innovative educational programs that reach thousands of students each year.

This beautifully curated program highlights expressive and beloved works of the Romantic period. Join us for a concert that celebrates Romantic expression at its finest – performed by two artists whose musical partnership is as inspiring and the music itself. This is an evening sure to delight longtime classical music lovers and newcomers alike.

We hope to see you there!
