JOB: Call for AAA Instructors 

Teach art handling, exhibition preparation, or historic preservation trades as part of the  Accomplished Arts Apprenticeship Program!  The Peale, Baltimore’s Community Museum, is seeking reliable, skilled instructors who can teach part-time on one or more modules in the Accomplished Arts Apprenticeship Program at the Peale. Although the program extends over 32 weeks from November 2022 into June 2023, any given instructor is unlikely to be required for all 32 weeks. The maximum number of teaching hours per week is currently 15: 5 hours/day Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Pay is $35/hour.

Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to AAA@ThePeale.org. Review of resumes begins on November 1, 2022, but they will be accepted until the positions are filled.

Based in the oldest museum building in the U.S., the Peale is Baltimore’s community museum and a place where anyone can contribute their story to the City’s cultural and historical narrative. About AAA

The Accomplished Arts Apprentices (AAA) program aims to increase equity and inclusion in the arts, creative and preservation trades with specific focus on people from marginalized communities in Baltimore. Apprentices are typically aged 19-24 and receive hands-on training in exhibition installation, art handling, historic preservation, and related trades, as well as greater involvement in and appreciation of the arts lifelong.
