The Peale invites you to take part in the People’s Choice Awards for Built to Last, our current exhibition exploring Baltimore’s historic built environment through the eyes of contemporary artists. This is your opportunity to shape the outcome.
How to vote
As you experience the exhibition, select the three artworks that resonate most with you.
- Choose exactly three works
- One vote per person
- Voting is open through June 1, 2026 at 5 pm
At the close of voting, the top three artworks receiving the most votes will each be awarded a $250 cash prize, presented alongside the juried awards.
Why your vote matters
Built to Last is about how we see Baltimore—its architecture, its history, and the stories embedded in its spaces. The People’s Choice Awards ensure that the public plays a direct role in recognizing the work that resonates most.
Supported by the Andy Warhol Foundation, these awards help provide direct financial support to artists while elevating the voices and perspectives shaping how Baltimore is seen and remembered today.

How to participate
Visitors can access this ballot by scanning the QR code in the galleries. The process takes just a few minutes and gives all visitors a direct role in the exhibition. Winners will be announced in June.
